A Morning at Louth Market Sharing the Magic of Crystals

I always look forward to setting up my stall at local markets. There’s something truly special about meeting people face to face, sharing stories, and seeing the curiosity in their eyes as they explore the wonderful world of crystals. This morning at Louth market was no exception.

One lovely lady came over to my stall, drawn in by the gentle sparkle and soothing colours of the crystals on display. She confessed she’d always been intrigued by crystals but didn’t know where to begin. What a joy it was to introduce her to some of my favourites; from the cool, calming touch of an amethyst to the soft pink glow of rose quartz.

We spoke about how each crystal carries its own unique energy. I showed her a clear quartz point and explained how it’s known as the master healer, wonderful for amplifying positive energy or helping to focus intentions. She held a piece of obsidian in her hand and remarked how grounding it felt, as though it offered strength in that very moment. We talked about how crystals can be placed on a desk for focus, kept on a mantelpiece to bring peace to a home, or simply held in the palm when a little calm is needed during a busy day.

It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.

Crystals are more than just beautiful objects. They are little pieces of the earth that can offer comfort, inspiration, and connection. Whether you’re drawn to a crystal’s colour, texture, or energy, there’s always a reason it calls to you. And my stall at the market is the perfect place for these introductions to happen.
